Our First Distribution Location:
Lomahasha, Swaziland

We have chosen Lomahasha, Swaziland as the first distribution point for our efforts. Working with the Bishop of Swaziland, the local Anglican church, and a wonderful group of people in the town, AMP project members Peter Crosby and Sabelo Mashwama plan to install 3,000 nets from December 2004 through February 2005.

About Swaziland

Swaziland has a population of approximately 1.1 million people. Bordered primarily by South Africa, and in part by Mozambique, the landlocked Kingdom of Swaziland has been independent since 1968. Diverse terrain - mountains, valleys, forests, and the African "lowveld" - can be found across in this beautiful country.

Peter recently attended festivities to highlight the various malaria intervention initiatives in Swaziland; pictures are at right.
